My gorgeous mate Ruthie has been in Paris recently. She’s been through some pretty harrowing times and this trip is like balm to her fiery soul. She was very grateful to be able to walk around Paris, not just because it was Paris, but because she was in a tragic accident a few years ago that left her living with a permanent injury. She is a beautiful writer and sent me this message:
Paris remains incredible; every day you wander off in another direction and find a stunning square with magnificent bronze statues or a gentle little park opening up to Spring and the first hints of warmth. As it’s built of creamy limestone, the city catches whatever light of day and seems to almost float, or at least luminesce, unlike any city in the world. No wonder everyone falls in love with Paris – the most elegant city in the world.
